Many clinicians believe that once a carious lesion is treated with silver diamine fluoride, restorative treatment is no longer necessary. The truth is, SDF does not restore the form and function of the tooth, therefore, in most cases, the restoration is still needed. It is important for clinicians to understand the benefits of incorporating SDF as a standard part of the restorative process for all patients. SDF buys time, preserves healthy tooth structure, and provides you and your patients with more flexible treatment options. During this CE webinar, we will present specific case examples to show the value SDF adds to restorative care.

During this CE webinar, we will:
• Explain why most patients still need restorative care after SDF treatment
• Learn about the unique benefits SDF provides to adult patients
• Review specific case examples where SDF improved the restorative treatment experience and outcome
• Outline best practices for incorporating SDF into your restorative treatment protocol   ( disclaimer , AGD PACE Statement )
